Responsibilities:
- Prepare files for client meetings
- Carry out follow-up tasks from client meetings to deliver on our promises
- Input information into our financial planning programs
- Meet with clients to complete applications and paperwork
- Conduct investment and financial planning research
- Provide service to clients with modest portfolios
The financial paraplanner creates initial draft of financial plans for senior advisors to finalize and deliver. The paraplanner also executes the follow-up activities from client meetings, implementing the recommendations that senior advisors and clients have decided to implement.
Paraplanners also provide service to clients with smaller portfolios and less complicated planning needs.
As the paraplanner increases their knowledge and skill level, they can be on a career track to becoming a Certified Financial Planner, Senior Advisor and Equity Partner in the firm.

Candidate Requirements
- Series 7 and 65 or 66 licenses
- Three years of experience in financial services
